Sausage Party

In the raunchy and hilarious adult animated comedy Sausage Party, life inside Shopwell’s supermarket seems like a paradise. Every morning, the sentient grocery items sing praises and pray to be chosen by the “Gods”—the human shoppers—believing that leaving the store leads to a blissful paradise known as the “Great Beyond.” Among them is Frank, an optimistic hot dog who dreams of nothing more than being purchased alongside his bun girlfriend, Brenda.

However, when a traumatized jar of honey mustard is returned to the store and reveals the terrifying reality of what actually happens in human kitchens, Frank’s entire worldview is shattered. Driven by a need for answers, he leads a ragtag group of food items on a perilous, aisle-spanning quest to discover the horrific truth behind their existence. Packed with jaw-dropping satire, sharp social commentary, and outrageously clever food puns, Sausage Party delivers an irreverent, boundary-pushing adventure that turns classic animated tropes upside down.
